What you can do for free in Indy PDF Studio
During the introductory period all currently available features are free. Without an account or installation you can edit PDFs, recognize text in scans and translate documents right in your browser. This is not a promise of free use forever; any future pricing will be announced in advance.
Try it free in the editorStep by step
- Open a PDF or image from your device, or start with a blank page.
- Choose your interface language. For OCR and translation set the language of the document.
- Make your edits, check the result and export the document.
- If you want to continue later, save the OPDF project.
Documents stay on your device
PDFs, images and their contents are not sent to a server for editing, OCR or translation. The website still downloads its components and language models and uses limited usage measurement without document contents.
Translation and a multilingual interface
The interface is available in 13 languages. You choose the source and target language of the translation separately and can translate a page, the whole document or selected text blocks.
OCR, editing and annotations
Recognize text in scans and images, edit text, font, size and color, and add highlights, drawings, shapes, images and a drawn signature.
Merge, split and organize pages
Merge several PDFs, split a document by page ranges (multiple outputs as a ZIP), reorder or rotate pages and add a blank A4 page.
Many export formats
Besides PDF you can export to DOCX, TXT, HTML and PNG or JPG images. Flattened PDF creates newly rendered pages without hidden original text.
