How to edit a PDF in your browser for free
Indy PDF Studio is a PDF editor that runs right in your browser. Opening a file loads it from your device; the document is not uploaded to a server. All currently available features are free during the introductory period.
Try it free in the editorStep by step
- Click Open and choose a document. To combine several PDFs use Merge.
- Click into the text with the Edit tool. For scans, wait for OCR first and check the OCR language.
- Add text, highlights, shapes, images or a drawn signature as needed.
- Use the page thumbnails and the Page panel to reorder or rotate pages.
- Export the PDF. To return to your edits later, also save the OPDF project.
Check before exporting
Changing the length of text can affect the layout. Go through the edited pages and check overlaps and numbers. Word export converts the text; it does not guarantee the original typesetting.
Which export to choose
The standard export saves the edited PDF. Flattened PDF renders new pages without the hidden original text, which is safer for sharing but limits text selection and form fields. For further editing keep the OPDF project.
Privacy
Document contents are processed locally. The app still downloads its own components, such as language models. Unsaved edits are lost when you close the page.
